Travel Berkey Water Filter Set – Berkey is one of the best-selling brands of water filters and purification systems worldwide and is recommended by various health magazines, laboratories and independent health websites. It has millions of satisfied customers around the world.
Berkey water filters remove more than 99.9% of chlorine, viruses, bacteria, cysts, pharmaceutical residues, parasites and hazardous chemical contaminants. Heavy metals are filtered out at a rate of 95% (up to almost 100% even with fluoride and arsenic filters). The essential minerals your body needs are retained in the process.
The Travel Berkey water filter comes as standard with 2 original Black Berkey filter cartridges. Black Berkey filter cartridges utilise the latest technological developments in water purification. Berkey water filters are therefore regarded as the best and most sustainable water filtration systems on the market and are the best-performing portable water filters. The Black Berkey filter cartridges have been tested by an independent laboratory in accordance with NSF/ANSI standards 42 and 53. See the laboratory report for further details.
The unit has a capacity of around 6 litres of water, which is more than enough for most purposes. You can use the Black Berkey filter cartridges for several years, meaning the unit pays for itself quickly compared to other brands of water filters.
The housing is made of polished stainless steel (304), ensuring long-term durability.
The Travel Berkey water filter set (special offer) consists of the products listed below. Click on the item numbers for more information about the individual products. The products in the set:
– Travel Berkey Water Filter 6L (includes 2 Black Berkey cartridges) – item no. BRBT2X2-BB
– Stainless steel tap for Berkey systems – item no. BRSPIGOT-SS
– Stand for the Travel Berkey water filter – item no. BRSMLBASE
The Travel Berkey can be easily assembled in a matter of minutes without the need for any tools. The first step in setting up a Berkey water filter is to prime the Black Berkey filter cartridges. It is important that this is done properly, otherwise it will take a very long time to purify the water. For full details about Berkey water filters, please refer to our library, which includes user guides, instructional videos and answers to frequently asked questions. If you’re unable to prime the system using the tap, then a automatic primer pump or manual primer pump order from us.

I am familiar with the Berkey Go; as a holistic teacher, I have tested this product, as well as the Travel model and other Berkey products, for water quality, and it produces water with a rating of 85%. With rainwater, the rating is 87%. Other water filters score significantly lower.
