Information about the Royal Berkey Water Filter

Berkey water filters remove more than 99.9% of chlorine, viruses, bacteria, cysts, pharmaceutical residues, parasites and hazardous chemical contaminants. Heavy metals are filtered out at a rate of 95% (up to almost 100% even with fluoride and arsenic filters). The essential minerals your body needs are retained in the process.

The Royal Berkey water filter comes as standard with 2 original Black Berkey filter cartridges and can be extended to 4 elements. Black Berkey filter cartridges utilise the latest technological developments in water purification. Berkey water filters are therefore regarded as the best and most sustainable water filtration systems on the market and are the best-performing portable water filters. The Black Berkey filter cartridges have been tested by an independent laboratory in accordance with NSF/ANSI standards 42 and 53. See the laboratory report for further details.

The unit has a capacity of approximately 12.3 litres of water, which is more than enough for most needs. You can use the Black Berkey filter cartridges for several years, meaning you’ll quickly recoup the cost of the unit compared to other brands of water filters.
