Information about the Pure Filters Home Water Filter 9L

This water filter is easy to install without the need for electricity or a water connection. Water is poured into the top chamber of the water filter and flows down through the microscopic pores of the Coldstream FTO PLUS filter element, which prevent impurities and other contaminants from passing through. As a result, only clean, drinkable water remains in the lower container. Would you like to check how much water is left in the tank? Ideal for filtering large quantities of water without having to modify a water pipe, for example in the kitchen. Countertop gravity filters sit independently on a worktop for easy access to drinking water. They use the force of gravity, together with the filter, to remove impurities from the water, without relying on plumbing or electricity. Once the upper tank is full, water pressure and gravity ensure that the water flows through the filters into the lower tank.

The Pure Filters Home Water Filter 9L is made from 304 stainless steel for long-lasting durability. Stainless steel water filters are very popular in homes and offices due to their versatility, ease of use and the reduction in plastic waste they offer. More durable and aesthetically pleasing than plastic. It is a more hygienic option than plastic, less prone to bacteria or mould growth, and offers greater resistance to corrosion.

Coldstream FTO PLUS water filter cartridges – NSF-certified

The Coldstream FTO PLUS water filter cartridge is NSF-certified (NSF/ANSI 42) and has been tested by a independent laboratory in accordance with NSF/ANSI standards 42, 53 and P231. The Coldstream FTO PLUS filter cartridges have been proven to reduce or remove more than 200 contaminants, including fluoride, chlorine, chloramines, VOCs, bacteria, pharmaceuticals, lead, nitrate and heavy metals, whilst beneficial minerals and electrolytes remain in the water.

Contents of the box:

This product comes with:

– 2 stainless steel trays (lower tray and upper tray).

– 1 knob for the lid.

First-time use:

The Pure Filters water filter is easy to install, without the need for tools or electricity. 1. Take the product out of the box and set the filter elements aside for the time being.
2. Clean the containers, the lid and the tap with mild washing-up liquid. DO NOT PUT THEM IN THE DISHWASHER! Dry with a soft cloth.
3. Attach the tap to the bottom container and attach the knob to the lid.
4. Remove the filter elements from their packaging. If necessary, remove the wing nut and washer from the filter stem. Whilst holding the plastic base of the filter element with one hand, hold it under running cold tap water, rinse it and scrub it gently for 2 minutes with a scouring pad. MAKE SURE NO WATER GETS INTO THE SHAFT OF THE FILTER ELEMENT!
5. Insert the shaft (with the rubber ring fitted) of the filter element through the hole in the upper housing. Tighten the wing nut on the BOTTOM of the upper housing. Do not overtighten. Do this for all the filter elements you wish to use, or seal the remaining holes with a plug.
6. Place the top container on top of the bottom container.
7. Fill the top container with water and put the lid on. DO NOT USE HOT WATER!
8. Discard the filtered water from the first two cycles.
9. You’re now ready to use it and can enjoy the filtered water.
