The deacidified form of vitamin C
Ascorbic acid is by far the best-known form of vitamin C. It is, in fact, the form that occurs naturally in our diet. Oranges, broccoli and apples: we all refer to the vitamin C in these foods as ascorbic acid.

Calcium and Magnesium Ascorbate
Nevertheless, this is a form that we classify as acidic, meaning that taking high doses may result in stomach and gut discomfort.
