Sometimes the device may not show a white mist after cleaning or
does not bubble slightly. This is usually when the electrolytic plate does not make good contact with the
electrolysis plate due to the wing nuts not being put back completely straight. This is sometimes
take a few tries, but always succeed afterwards. After a few times, you will see that it
device works as before.
So if you don't see any bubbles (bubbling or fizzing) coming out of your AquaPure, switch off the appliance and remove it from the water. Turn the top cover counterclockwise to the unlocked position by turning the handle. Once the top cover is removed, turn the nuts on the inner electrolyte components clockwise to tighten them. This should solve the problem immediately.
Should that still not work, check that the grille inside is properly seated. You can see this by the 2 dimples on one side of the grille near a hole. These fit exactly on the 2 bumps on the device on one side near the electrode. See also image below:
