The Coldstream FTO PLUS filter cartridges are easy to install, use and clean. Priming is not required, and no additional filters are needed to remove fluoride. Before installation, simply rinse the outside briefly under a cold tap and, if necessary, scrub lightly with a scouring pad to remove any manufacturing residue.
Installation
Follow the step-by-step guide below:
- 1. Take the filter element and fit the rubber ring onto the shaft.
- 2. Insert the handle through a hole in the top tray.
- 3. Screw the wing nut onto the underside of the top housing. Once you feel resistance, it is tight enough. PLEASE NOTE! Do not overtighten it. Repeat steps 1 and 2 for any other filter elements.
- 4. Seal any remaining holes with plug-in plugs.
- 5. Place the top container on top of the bottom container.
- 6. Fill the top tank with water and let the water run through. We recommend that you Discard the first two cycles!
