BOROUX stainless steel tap, black

With the BOROUX stainless steel tap in black, you can upgrade your current water filtration system. This tap is supplied as standard with a BOROUX Legacy™ Compact or BOROUX Legacy™ water filter so you don’t need to place a separate order for these systems. However, there may come a time when you need to replace the current tap on your BOROUX water filter, which is why it can be removed. It is also compatible with other brands of gravity-fed water filters, including Berkey water filters and Pure Filters water filters. But also on the stainless steel water filters from British Berkefeld, ProOne, Phoenix, Aqua Logic, Monderma, Newton and others.

The BOROUX stainless steel tap in black is designed for durability and reliability. This tap is made from high-quality 304 stainless steel with a premium coating (on the exterior only) and guarantees long-lasting performance and a sleek, modern look. It is fitted with food-safe silicone O-rings that ensure a secure, leak-proof seal and a ceramic valve. This makes it an ideal choice as a replacement for an existing (plastic) tap.

The tap is also available in the colour Stainless steel and white. These have been specially developed, amongst other things, for the coloured versions of the BOROUX Legacy™ Compact or BOROUX Legacy™ water filter. Of course, these also fit other brands of water filters, but please bear in mind that there will be a difference in colour if the tap is coloured.

What is included with the BOROUX stainless steel tap in black?

The stainless steel tap, including two food-safe silicone sealing rings, two stainless steel cover plates, a stainless steel fixing nut with a simple thread, and easy-to-follow installation instructions.
 

Assembly

Installation is very straightforward. The tap comes with a nut, two silicone sealing rings and two stainless steel cover plates. Insert the tap through the hole in the lower chamber of the water filter. Make sure that a silicone sealing ring and a stainless steel cover plate are fitted on both the inside and the outside. Next, screw the nut onto the tap’s thread (on the inside of the water filter) and tighten it securely. This is very important, as if it isn’t tightened properly, there’s a risk of water leaking. So make sure you tighten it firmly! You’re now ready to use it and can draw water from the water filter.
