Go Berkey water filter set – Berkey is one of the best-selling brands of water filters and purification systems worldwide and is recommended by various health magazines, laboratories and independent health websites. It has millions of satisfied customers around the world.
Berkey water filters remove more than 95% of chlorine, viruses, bacteria, cysts, pharmaceutical residues, parasites, heavy metals and hazardous chemical contaminants. The essential minerals that your body needs are retained in the process.
The Go Berkey water filter set is easy to carry, lightweight and therefore the ideal water filter for when you’re out and about, camping, travelling, on the move or for use on a desk. The filter will last for around 10 years, which is a major advantage over other water filters. The Go Berkey water filter set contains: upper and lower stainless steel chambers, 1 Black Berkey filter cartridge, 1 wing nut, 1 washer, 1 priming button, 1 stainless steel lid, 1 Sport Berkey Water Bottle with Filter, Black Berkey Primer and a carry bag. The upper section slides into the lower section during transport.
Black Berkey filter cartridges utilise the latest technological developments in water purification. Berkey water filters are therefore regarded as the best and most sustainable water filtration systems on the market and are the best-performing portable water filters. The Black Berkey filter cartridges have been tested by an independent laboratory in accordance with NSF/ANSI standards 42 and 53. See the laboratory report for further details.
The housing is made of polished stainless steel (304), ensuring long-term durability.
The Go Berkey water filter set can be easily assembled in a matter of minutes without the need for any tools. The first step in setting up a Berkey water filter is to prime the Black Berkey filter cartridge. It is important that this is done properly, otherwise it will take a very long time to purify the water. I’d expected it to have a tap, but it doesn’t have one – though that says nothing about the quality; it just shows that I hadn’t done my research properly.
H.J. Flier –
Works well.

I received my order, which was neatly packaged, and the water tastes really good. The handwritten note was a lovely touch too – you don’t often come across that.

Fantastic customer service – knowledgeable and really friendly. Fast delivery. Excellent communication.
The Go Berkey water filter works perfectly! Priming the filter on the tap takes a bit of practice, plus you need the right tap (I unscrewed the shower hose from the sturdy wall-mounted tap and it was sorted in no time 🙂
The filter works quickly, processing 600ml in 12 minutes and 750ml in 20 minutes. All the parts slot back together neatly and easily, and remain well protected whilst on the move in the (padded) pouch.
You can carry out the colour liquid test using, for example, the red liquid available from Xenos (50ml for €2.09).
I love car camping and now I always have a very compact, reliable fresh-water supply with me, wherever I am.
