You can easily install this water filter without the need for electricity or a water connection. With the exclusive design of the ProOne Big+ water filter, you can choose between a polished and a brushed variant. Deze variant is dus gepolijst. Water wordt toegevoegd in de bovenste bak van de waterfilter en stroomt naar beneden door de microscopisch kleine poriën van het filterelement, die voorkomen dat verontreinigingen en andere verontreinigende stoffen er doorheen gaan. Hierdoor blijft alleen schoon, drinkbaar water over in de onderste bak. Wil je controleren hoeveel water er nog in de tank zit? Ideal for filtering large quantities of water without having to modify a water pipe, for example in the kitchen. Countertop gravity filters sit independently on a worktop for easy access to drinking water. They use the force of gravity, together with the filter, to remove impurities from the water, without relying on plumbing or electricity. Once the upper tank is full, water pressure and gravity ensure that the water flows through the filters into the lower tank.

De ProOne Big+ Waterfilter 12L gepolijst is gemaakt van 304 roestvrij staal voor langdurige duurzaamheid. Daarnaast zit er direct een RVS kraantje en een RVS standaard (hoogte 15 cm) bij. Roestvrijstalen waterfilters zijn erg populair in woningen en kantoren vanwege hun veelzijdigheid, gebruiksgemak en vermindering van plastic afval. Duurzamer en esthetisch aantrekkelijker dan plastic. Het is een hygiënischer optie dan plastic, minder vatbaar voor bacteriën of schimmelvorming en heeft een hogere weerstand tegen corrosie.

The ProOne filter elements are NSF-certified (NSF/ANSI 42) and have been tested by an independent laboratory in accordance with NSF/ANSI standards 42, 53, P231, P401 and P473. The ProOne filter cartridges have been proven to reduce or remove more than 200 contaminants, including fluoride, chlorine, chloramines, VOCs, bacteria, pharmaceuticals, lead and heavy metals, whilst leaving beneficial minerals in the water. They are infused with silver to prevent the growth of bacteria.

– 1 stainless steel stand (height approx. 15 cm).
– 1 non-slip mat for the stand.
 

First-time use:

The ProOne water filter is easy to install, without the need for tools or electricity. For example, here is the user guide for the ProOne Big+ water filter. Below is also a brief step-by-step guide:
1. Take the product out of the box and set the filter element(s) aside for the time being.
2. Clean the containers, the lid and the tap with mild washing-up liquid. DO NOT PUT THEM IN THE DISHWASHER! Dry with a soft cloth.
3. Attach the tap to the bottom container and attach the knob to the lid.
4. Remove the filter element(s) from the packaging. Remove the wing nut and washer from the filter shank. Whilst holding the plastic base of the filter element with one hand, hold it under running cold tap water, rinse and scrub for 2 minutes. MAKE SURE NO WATER GETS INTO THE SHAFT OF THE FILTER ELEMENT!
5. Insert the shaft (with the rubber ring fitted) of the filter element through the hole in the upper housing. Tighten the wing nut on the BOTTOM of the upper housing. Do not overtighten. Do this for all the filter elements you wish to use, or seal the remaining holes with a plug.
6. Place the top container on top of the bottom container.
7. Fill the top container with water and put the lid on. DO NOT USE HOT WATER!
8. Discard the first two or three cycles of filtered water.
9. You’re now ready to use it and can enjoy the filtered water.
