The BOROUX Legacy™ water filter white comes standard with 2 BOROUX Foundation™ Black filters, but you can upgrade it to 4 filter elements. These BOROUX filters reduce over 99% of chlorine, heavy metals, pharmaceutical contaminants (drug residues), pesticides, herbicides, insecticides, plastic & industrial contaminants (PFAS), volatile organic compounds (VOCs), microplastics and disinfection contaminants, among others. The essential minerals your body needs are retained in the process.

Different colour, unique design

The BOROUX Legacy™ water filter is available in 3 colours. In addition to the stainless steel model it is also available in the colour white and black. These variants have a high-quality coating (on the outside only), with of course the tap and all other parts also having this colour. A great unique design!
 

BOROUX Foundation™ Black filters

The advanced filtration technology not only filters the water but also transforms it. By removing more than 99% of harmful contaminants, it ensures BOROUX Foundation™ Black filters ensuring that your water is as pure and refreshing as nature intended. Every reduction of a contaminant contributes to improving your health and well-being!

The filters include a special blend of activated carbon. The BOROUX Foundation™ Black filter elements contain silver, an antimicrobial agent, to prevent micro-organisms from attacking the product itself. These filters are not designed to filter micro-organisms.
In addition, they are so powerful that they can remove red dyes from water without removing the useful minerals your body needs.

Installation

You can easily assemble the BOROUX Legacy™ white in minutes without tools. The first step is priming the BOROUX Foundation™ Black filter elements. It is important that this is done properly, otherwise purifying the water will take a very long time. Should priming with the tap fail, a primer set order from us.
 

When should you replace the BOROUX Foundation™ Black filters?

BOROUX Foundation™ Black filters are designed to last for many years. However, we live in different times now than we did a few years ago. The number of contaminants has only increased and have become increasingly severe (think, for example, of PFAS or the hefty increase in drug residues, pesticides, etc.). This has a huge effect on the filters, making it better to replace the filters a bit earlier. We therefore recommend replacing the BOROUX Foundation™ Black filters to be replaced every 3 years maximum when using tap water. If you use water from another source, the advice is to replace earlier.
