BOROUX stainless steel tap

With the BOROUX stainless steel tap, you upgrade your current water filtration system. This tap is supplied as standard with a BOROUX Legacy™ Compact or BOROUX Legacy™ water filter and therefore do not need to be ordered separately with these systems. However, there may come a time when you need to replace the current tap of your BOROUX water filter, which is why it is available separately. However, it also fits other brands of gravity water filters, including Berkey water filters and Pure Filters water filters. But also on stainless steel water filters from British Berkefeld, ProOne, Phoenix, Aqua Logic, Monderma, Newton and more.

The BOROUX stainless steel tap designed for durability and reliability. Made of high-quality 304 stainless steel, this tap ensures long-lasting performance and a sleek, modern look. It is equipped with food-safe silicone rings that ensure a secure, leak-proof seal and a ceramic shut-off valve. This makes it an ideal choice as a replacement for an existing (plastic) tap.

The tap fits all BOROUX water filters, as well as other gravity water filtration systems with a tap hole opening of 1.5 to 1.9 cm, including thus Berkey, Pure Filters, British Berkefeld, ProOne, Phoenix, Aqua Logic, Monderma, Newton and more.
The tap is also available in the colour black and white. These are specially designed for the coloured variants of the BOROUX Legacy™ Compact or BOROUX Legacy™ water filter. Of course these also fit the other brands of water filters, but remember that there will be a difference in colour.

What is included with the BOROUX stainless steel tap

The stainless steel tap, including two food-safe silicone sealing rings, two stainless steel cover plates, a stainless steel fixing nut with simple threads and easy-to-follow installation instructions.
 

Assembly

Installation is very easy. In fact, the tap comes with a nut, 2 silicone sealing rings and 2 stainless steel cover plates. Insert the tap through the hole in the lower tray of the water filter. Make sure there is a silicone sealing ring and a stainless steel cover plate on both the inside and outside. Next, screw the little nut onto the thread of the tap (on the inside of the water filter) and tighten it well. This last part is very important, because if it is not tightened properly, you risk water leaking. So tighten it firmly! You are then ready to use and can tap water from the water filter.
