Vitamin B12 is found almost exclusively in animal products. Golden Naturals Vitamin B12 6000 mcg lozenges contain three natural forms, namely hydroxocobalamin, methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin (also known as dibencozide). Many other vitamin B12 supplements contain cyanocobalamin, a synthetic, non-natural form that the body must first convert before it takes effect. The advantage of a supplement containing bioactive ingredients is that the body can absorb the active substances directly, meaning it takes effect more quickly. Furthermore, Golden Naturals Vitamin B12 6000 mcg also contains added vitamin B6 and folic acid (folate), making it a very comprehensive product.
