Black Berkey filter cartridges utilise the latest technological developments in water purification. Berkey water filters are therefore regarded as the best and most sustainable water filtration systems on the market and are the best-performing portable water filters. The Black Berkey filter cartridges have been tested by an independent laboratory in accordance with NSF/ANSI standards 42 and 53. See the laboratory report for further details.

The unit has a capacity of around 17 litres of water, which is more than enough for most needs. You can use the Black Berkey filter cartridges for several years, meaning the unit pays for itself quickly compared to other brands of water filters.
