A summary of the ProOne ProMax Shower filter replacement filter:
1. Unscrew the shower filter from the tap or shower arm by turning counterclockwise
2. Unscrew the enclosures from each other by rotating the top and bottom in different directions from each other
3. Remove the replacement filter. Make sure the O-rings in the filter housing remain in the correct grooves. In the top housing, 2 O-rings fit. In the lower housing 1 O-ring fits
4. Insert the new replacement filter. NOTE: The side of the replacement filter with the mesh is the top!
5. Re-tighten the housings
6. Replace the Teflon tape on the tap or shower arm and reattach the shower filter to the tap or shower arm, tighten clockwise (CAUTION!!! DO NOT over-tighten).
7. Run the water for 15 seconds without standing under it yourself
7. You're done and you can enjoy the ProOne ProMax shower filter again
Notes:
- If there is leakage between the two housings after replacing the filter, try tightening these housings. If this does not help, loosen the housings and check that the O-ring is properly seated in the groove. If necessary, you can reverse the O-ring. Then retighten the housings properly and test again. Keep repeating these actions until the leakage is no longer there.
- Replace the replacement filter between 6 and 9 months.
