The stainless steel sight glass tap for ProOne Traveler+ and ProOne Big+ water filter is an accessory that adds both style and function. Matching the design of the ProOne stainless steel water filters. Replacing the stainless steel tap supplied as standard, this high-quality stainless steel sight glass tap allows you to directly read the water level in the lower container of your ProOne Traveler+- (8.5L) or ProOne Big+ water filter (12L). You will then know for sure when it is time to refill the top tray.
Most gravity water filters require lifting the top tray to see how much water is left in the bottom tray. But a quick glance at the sight glass lid is all you need to determine the accurate water level in your ProOne stainless steel water filter (ProOne Traveler+- or ProOne Big+ water filter).
However, the stainless steel sight glass tap for ProOne water filters also fits most other brands of gravity water filter systems, including Berkey, British Berkefeld, Alexapure, AquaCera and Patriot Pure.
The housing is made of stainless steel and consists of a glass tube that allows you to easily and quickly read the water level. This tap with sight glass features a plastic handle (food safety approved) with 2 positions and a 19 cm sight glass. When it is time to clean your stainless steel water filter, simply remove the tap, remove the glass via the cap at the top and rinse the glass tube with soap and water. Then let it air dry.

1. Remove the nut and all 4 parts (cover plates and white washers) from the tap's threaded stem
2. Remove the blue plastic protective film from both stainless steel cover plates. Place a stainless steel cover plate and then a white ring on the threaded stem of the tap.
3. Insert the threaded stem through the hole in the lower container of the water filter.
4. Place a white washer and then a stainless steel cover plate on the threaded stem on the inside of the lower tray of the water filter.
5. Secure with the small nut. You may need a spanner to tighten securely. Alternatively, you can hold the nut on the inside and then turn it on the outside with the tap. Don't over-tighten, but it shouldn't leak.
