The viewing glass tap stainless steel for BOROUX Legacy™, Royal Berkey water filter! This stainless steel viewing glass tap offers a simple and elegant solution to see how much water is left in the lower container of your BOROUX or Berkey water filter. Equipped with a small ball, which fits seamlessly into the glass tube. The little ball floats on the water, allowing you to clearly see the water level from a distance.
The sight glass tap stainless steel for BOROUX Legacy™- and Royal Berkey water filter is a premium upgrade for your stainless steel water filtration system! Completely plastic-free and made of high-quality 304 stainless steel with approved (food-safe) silicone rings. These variant stainless steel sight glass faucets are available in two sizes to ensure one fits any Berkey or BOROUX stainless steel water filter model. So in addition to this model, you can also get one for the BOROUX Legacy™ Compact, Travel Berkey and Big Berkey. In addition, you can also choose the white or black version, as the BOROUX Legacy™ water filter also in white or in black to get.

I have had a Royal Berkey with an ordinary stainless steel tap for about two years now. Recently I decided to buy a stainless steel tap with sight glass. I never wanted the plastic version, and now that a stainless steel version is available, I bought it anyway.
Is a sight glass really necessary? Not really, I'm used to it when it needs filling (the strength of the jet gives a good idea of how full or empty the berkey is). But I bought it anyway because it's nice to be able to read when you walk past the berkey. I don't see it as a must have but Nice to have.
My experience so far
1) Solid stuff, no plastic involved. Sight glass is also made of glass and not plastic. Be careful when cleaning it, because the tube is made of glass... and if you are not careful, it rolls right off the counter top
2) tap is more pleasant than the normal stainless steel tap. Opens and closes smoothly and pleasantly
3) easy reading of the water level because of the little ball (optional to use)
4) great to clean, with small brush
Why not 5 stars?
1) price , is just expensive for just being able to read the water level
2) the sight glass protrudes slightly above lower compartment, making it easier to tap the top of the sight glass when the upper compartment is put back on. Optically it looks a bit less, viewing glass mounted is longer than lower compartment. Not shocking , but unfortunate.
3) at that price, a brush to clean the sight glass really should have been included
All in all, happy with my purchase and no regrets at all.
