INGREDIENTS AND EXPLANATIONS

INCI: Ricinus Communis Seed Oil, Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil, Butyrospermum Parkii Butter, Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Copernicia Cerifera Wax, Beeswax, Rhus Verniciflua Peel Cera, Squalane, Tocopherol.

Ricinus Communis Seed Oil - Castor oil, obtained by pressing the seeds of the miracle tree. Contains 85% ricinoleic acid, along with stearic, linoleic and oleic acids. Forms a film (occlusion) on the skin surface, reducing water loss from deeper skin layers and increasing hydration. It is non-comedogenic.
Function: Moisturises and prevents moisture loss.
Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil - A fatty emollient derived from coconut oil that forms a protective layer on the skin. Makes lips smoother and softer.
Function: Soothes and protects the skin.
Butyrospermum Parkii Butter - Pure shea butter from a Swedish producer with certified climate-neutral cultivation. Extracted from the seeds of the shea tree in Burkina Faso (Africa). Strongly resembles skin lipids, strengthens the intercellular cement structure and protects against external influences. Accelerates wound healing and has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties.
Function: Strengthens the skin barrier and protects against harmful influences.
Hydrogenated Castor Oil - Hardened castor oil of 100% natural origin. A rich emollient that softens and smoothes lips.
Function: Softens and smoothes lips.
Copernicia Cerifera Wax - Carnauba wax that forms an occlusive layer on the lips, protecting the skin from moisture loss. Also provides a moisturising effect.
Function: Protects lips and helps retain moisture.
Beeswax - Beeswax softens dry, cracked skin and forms a delicate protective layer with antibacterial properties.
Function: Protects and soothes dry lips.
Rhus Verniciflua Peel Cera - Wax from the skin of the berries of a tree native to China. An exceptionally soft and smooth wax that has a moisturising effect and acts as an occlusive dressing.
Function: Moisturises and protects lips.
Squalane - Oil derived from olive oil. Unique because it occurs naturally in our sebum, the skin's protective lipid layer. Seals the hydro-lipid barrier and prevents water loss. Acts as an antioxidant, similar to vitamins C and D, and protects fat cells from oxidation.
Function: Nourishes, protects and helps maintain the skin barrier.
Tocopherol - Simply vitamin E, also called the "youth vitamin". Effectively inhibits the oxidation of lipids in the epidermis and dermis. Integrates into the lipid structures of cell membranes and the intercellular cement layer of the stratum corneum, strengthens the skin barrier and prevents water loss.
Function: Delays skin ageing and improves elasticity.
