Would you prefer not to use plastic parts? If so, this stainless steel tap for Berkey stainless steel water filters is ideal. It allows you to replace the supplied (plastic) tap, thereby replacing yet another piece of plastic with a stainless steel part.
This stainless steel tap is high quality and beautifully finished. It completes your water filter. It fits all stainless steel Berkey water filters (not including the Berkey Light) and even on the BOROUX water filters (PLEASE NOTE! A stainless steel tap is already included) and Pure Filters water filters (PLEASE NOTE! A stainless steel tap is already included). It is also compatible with stainless steel water filters from British Berkefeld, ProOne, Phoenix, Aqua Logic, Monderma, Newton and more.
So simply order it from your Berkey water filter or order it to go with a stainless steel water filter from another brand. The tap is a popular addition to a Berkey water filter, which is why we have put together complete sets that include this tap. A set consists of a water filter, a stand and this tap. Naturally, you’ll benefit from a set discount. You can find these great-value sets on our special offers page.
Installation is very straightforward. The tap comes with a nut, two silicone sealing rings and two stainless steel cover plates. Insert the tap through the hole in the lower chamber of the water filter. Make sure that a silicone sealing ring and a stainless steel cover plate are fitted on both the inside and the outside. Next, screw the nut onto the tap’s thread (on the inside of the water filter) and tighten it securely. This is very important, as if it isn’t tightened properly, there’s a risk of water leaking. So make sure you tighten it firmly! You’re now ready to use it and can draw water from the water filter.
