Wing nut for Black Berkey- and BOROUX Foundation™ Black filters

Wing nut for Black Berkey- and BOROUX Foundation™ Black filter elements features:

• Wing nut (meets food safety requirements) used to screw a Black Berkey or BOROUX Foundation™ Black filter element into the system
• Each set Black Berkey filter elements and BOROUX Foundation™ Black filter elements comes with wing nuts as standard; in case of loss or damage, you can therefore also order them separately
• This wing nut is only for use with the Black Berkey filter elements or BOROUX Foundation™ Black filter elements and should be used in conjunction with a Ring for Black Berkey- and BOROUX Foundation™ Black filters
• This wing nut cannot be replaced by a wing nut of other filter element types

Use wing nuts for Black Berkey- and BOROUX Foundation™ Black filter elements

CAUTION! Do not tighten the wing nuts. In fact, this is not possible because on the other side of the hole is the rubber washer. This, of course, provides some slack because it is flexible. If you keep tightening, the flexibility will once run out and too much tension will be put on the wing nut. This can damage the groove of the wing nut. Our advice is therefore to just tighten it until it is 'on' (you feel resistance), which will be enough.
