BOROUX Foundation™ Black filters work by absorbing and trapping contaminant molecules. The carbon attracts molecules with a specific chemical charge and absorbs them. They adhere to the carbon, just as a magnet attracts metal. The tiny pores in the carbon block are so small that they physically block and trap small particles. It is similar to a sieve or colander.
