The first filtration phase takes place when the water passes through the proven BOROUX Foundation™ Black filters with activated carbon flows. The BOROUX Proactive™ Fluoride filter is screwed and attached to the stem of the BOROUX Foundation™ Black filter. The second filtration stage takes place when water flows through the double-acting BOROUX Proactive™ Fluoride filter.
After passing through the filters in the upper tray, the water first comes into contact with the inner layer of the highly efficient granulated carbon filters in the lower tray. The water then filters through the patented nanocarbon outer layer. Thanks to the patented Upflow design of the stainless steel casing, the water stays in contact with the outer layer for a long time, ensuring superior filtration. The filtered water leaves the casing through the outlet holes at the top. This ensures almost even utilisation of the entire surface of the fluoride filters, from bottom to top.
