The BOROUX Proactive\u2122 Fluoride filter is screwed onto the shaft of the BOROUX Foundation\u2122 Black filter and secured in place. The second stage of filtration takes place as the water flows through the dual-action BOROUX Proactive\u2122 Fluoride filter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After the water has passed through the filters in the upper chamber, it first comes into contact with the inner layer of the highly efficient granulated carbon filters in the lower chamber. The water then filters through the patented nano-carbon outer layer. Thanks to the patented Upflow design of the stainless steel housing, the water remains in contact with the outer layer for an extended period, ensuring superior filtration. The filtered water leaves the housing via the outlet holes at the top.
